The Franchisee plays a key role as the leader of his or her franchise team. It is the Franchisee who points the way to success by effectively communicating expectations to his or her team, and managing the franchise operations efficiently and effectively.
The Prep’n Sell Franchise Operations Manual has been designed as a comprehensive aid to understanding the Prep’n Sell business model, as well as setting up and operating your business. The goal of this Manual is to provide you with, not only the standards that ensure corporate uniformity, but also the necessary knowledge to make crucial business decisions.
This Manual is an integral part of your initial training, and afterwards it will act as a permanent reference in the areas of Business Operations, Building and Managing Your Team and Customer Service. We are confident that by using the Manual, practicing our procedures, and building on our hands-on training, you will be well on your way to becoming a successful Prep’n Sell franchise business owner.

How to Use This Manual for Success
This Manual contains information and policies developed while operating and honing the Prep’n Sell business model since 2002. We’ve developed and implemented standard guidelines for operation, which allows your efforts to be focused on the development of a prosperous franchise. Our goal is to provide these guidelines in a clear, concise manner so every franchisee can benefit from our experience and knowledge.
The contents of this Manual are for the sole use of Prep’n Sell’s franchisees and employees. The entire Manual, whether in digital or print form, remains the property of Prep’n Sell Franchising Inc. It is yours to use while your Franchise Agreement remains in force but must be returned when your Franchise Agreement expires, terminates or otherwise is no longer in effect.
The guidelines presented in this Manual will help you to operate and grow your business. To be 100% effective, these guidelines need to be applied. This Manual is the outline, but the real power comes in the application. The methods in this Manual will help you present a unified level of service to all customers. Its purpose is not to create an environment that is regimental and rigid, but to provide a framework where creativity and imagination can grow, within guidelines and systems that have proven successful.
We are a growth-oriented company, and this is a living document. You will find that certain policies and procedures will need to be updated from time to time. If you feel there are deficiencies in the Manual, or anything that could be clarified, please discuss this with our Corporate office. When offering a suggestion or recommending a change, please indicate the section, topic or page number where you’d like to see a change made.
Some of our best ideas come from Franchisees and employees, and we look forward to the unique contributions that will be made and added to the Manual by our team members.

Introduction
Our previous company, Fabrizone Canada Ltd., was founded in 1981 to provide carpet cleaning services to residential and commercial clients through a worldwide Franchise network. Prep’n Sell evolved in 2002 from a need in the market to provide a “One Call Does It All” service for clients getting their homes ready to sell. After refining the business model, in 2014 we began franchising the Prep’n Sell concept. In 2018, we amalgamated both companies under the umbrella of Prep’n Sell Franchising Inc.
The company has been prepping homes for sale for the real estate industry in the Greater Toronto Area since 2002. Our founder and President, David Collier, has outstanding customer service skills and expertise about what needs to be done to get a home ready to sell. Whether selling, buying or staying in the home they love, Prep’n Sell provides our customers with all the services needed to repair, clean, renovate and spruce up a home.
